Alison Baskin is a general surgery resident at the University of California San Francisco. She is currently in her first of two dedicated research years, focusing on the implementation of national quality improvement initiatives to improve the quality of lymph node staging for lung cancer. Dr. Baskin plans to pursue a career in Thoracic Oncology and is honored to receive mentorship from Dr. Daniela Molena, Associate Professor and Director of the Esophageal Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
