Biopsy Needles

The SCANLAN® Biopsy Needle makes it easy for the surgeon to complete a tissue biopsy. Special features such as the "O" ring and the large cutting window assure a clean sample. The surgeon will always know the orientation of the window due to the easy to see markings on the needle.

• Cutting Window - the electrochemical grind on the edge of the cutting window slices cleanly through tissue (avoiding possible tearing or pinching). Larger window design provides a greater sample of tissue
  
• "O" Ring - the unique "O" ring between the outer and inner canulas creates an air tight seal, ensuring strong suction at the cutting window
  
• Orientation - the easy to see reflective bar allows the surgeon to easily recognize the window orientation
  
• Adjustable Depth Stop - assures accurate biopsy location
