Instrument Features

  • High tension design may provide a secure grasp when retracting lung tissue anteriorly during Uniportal VATS procedures.
  • 20 mm oval ring jaws provide an atraumatic, secure grasp designed to avoid tearing or damage to lung tissue.
  • Unique 7 mm to 10 mm tapered shaft design. The finer
7 mm shaft provides improved visibility and ergonomics. The 10 mm pivot points provide strength and durability.
  • May be used for grasping a well-folded sponge as a “sponge-stick” for both blunt dissection and to apply pressure for temporary control of bleeding.
Please Note…

Each Scanlan instrument is individually handcrafted to provide the surgeon with the highest quality, longest-lasting, precision instrument possible. Reflecting this unique process, all stated dimensions are approximate.
