2011 Scanlan Group Holiday Celebration

Brigid Scanlan Eiynck and Tim Scanlan were honored to have Mrs. C. Walton Lillehei attend this year’s Scanlan Group Holiday celebration. The Scanlan family has worked closely with the Lillehei family for many years, and generations in the development of new and innovative surgical products.

For almost 29 years Dan shared his passion for surgical instrumentation as our Instrument Artisan.

Dan’s unique skill, knowledge and craftsmanship were mirrored in the creation and restoration of
Scanlan instrumentation.

His gift will continue to positively impact operating rooms and patient’s lives around the world.

Dennis R. Scanlan, Jr. Inducted into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame!

Dennis R. Scanlan, Jr. was recently inducted into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame.  A world renowned surgical instrument designer, manufacturer, inventor …he also was an aviation pioneer.  During WWII he was assigned to the 8th Air Force in Alconbury, England and was a Captain and Senior Flying Control Officer with the 482nd Bomb Group.
