SCANLAN® CardioVasive® Chitwood Knot Tier/Pusher

The Scanlan® CardioVasive®  Chitwood Knot Tier/Pusher has been specially designed to assist in the placement and "seating" of suture knots during minimally invasive procedures.

The unique "Trap Model" design securely controls suture knots and smoothly slides them into position.  Once in position the Scanlan® CardioVasive®  Chitwood Knot Tier/Pusher provides accurate counter pressure to securely "seat" knots into place.

Ideal for minimally invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, it offers…

• A secure, controlled method to place and tighten suture knots in limited exposure surgical fields.
• Smooth sliding of heavier, braded suture ranging in size from 7.0 to 2.0
• A unique "Trap Model" design to assist in tightening and seating of knots
• Small, narrow foot plate providing maximum exposure within the surgical field.
• Versatility - may be used for knot placement in small 2 cm incisions, as well as standard "open field" procedures… including heart valve and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair
